We are me; Mummy, otherwise known as Michelle, Big chickpea; Daddy, otherwise known as Tristan, Medium chickpea; Rowan and Baby chickpea Reuben. This blog was started as I thought I was starting to loose track of all the amazing day to day things my children learn and how we grow as a family. It is also here to keep family and friends up to date with our adventure of moving our life from the UK to Australia.

Easter Holidays

More photos..........
Easter morning, hunting for eggs

Woo Hoo, they found some

Rowan decorating his prize winning egg

In our street, there are 3 houses (including us) with similar aged boys - which is great.  On Easter Sunday we all got together at our next door, next door's neighbour's house and decorated loads of hard boiled eggs.  after the eggs were looking great the kids had a variety of races with their eggs.  After an eggcellent time, we all headed back to ours for an amazing bbq and pool fun time!  It was an amazing Easter weekend

Rowan's 6 eggs (the one with purple hair won the best dressed egg!)

Not only fun for the kids!

Tristan's egg Gaga!

The tray of everyone's best eggs

One great thing about steep drives - they are great for egg rolling competitions!

Egg and Spoon, of course

Reuben won egg and spoon in his heat

Egg crazy golf!

Prize time

Happy Valley park, one of our favourite places (cool park, good surf, ace beach and coffee and ice cream)

Zoned out

Lovely sunset from Bulcock beach

Reuben in a zorb ball on the river

Both boys trying to knock each other over in their zorbs

Another fav spot - Currimundi lake

Rowan went fishing with Dad

Tris and his new hobby!

the last week of school holidays was very wet and it also went quite cold, so we had to have a bit of a spending spree and get warm clothes and bedding!  The boys did a little fashion show of their new warm outfits!

Tris and I actually managed a night out whilst we had babysitters.  We went to a full moon dance (it no longer falls on a full moon, but is a regular event that we had heard lot's about)

We had a good night, it was good to have a good old boogie and see some bands and dj's.
