At the end of July, on a really hot weekend we visited Birmingham. We stayed with my cousin and his wife and visited some of my family that we haven't seen for a long time, and some the boys have never met.
On one of the lovely baking hot days we went to Warwick castle, which was awesome. They had loads of stuff to watch and loads of activities for the kids to do.

| The world's biggest trebuchet - this was amazing to watch. It was powered by people walking around the giant hamster wheels drawing back the catapult. It used to make people sick as the light would flash through the gaps. So in medeival times they would use blind people to combat the sickness! |
